Privacy policy

The short version: the files you open in 108pdf tools are processed by your own browser on your own device. They are not uploaded to 108pdf servers.

Files you process

When you add a PDF or image to a free tool, the file is read into your browser's memory, processed there, and offered back to you as a download. We do not receive, store or see these files. Closing the tab clears them.

Data stored on your device

• Your colour theme choice, favourite tools and recently used tools are saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them. You can clear them at any time by clearing site data.
• If you drop a file on the home page and choose a tool, the file is passed to that tool through your browser's IndexedDB and deleted as soon as the tool opens it.

Analytics and logs

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability. If we add analytics, we will use a privacy-friendly service without cross-site tracking and update this page.

Pro (upcoming)

Some future Pro tools will need to upload a file to our servers. Those tools will say so clearly before you add a file, and files will be deleted automatically after processing.
